So on my first trip to Paris a couple of months ago, I really only had a couple of must-do items on my list: meet the Anyweargirl Paris bloggers in person, see the Eiffel tower, and go to the Christian Louboutin for some stunning footwear.
Even the storefront windows don’t disappoint. The leopard display visible from the main street was so lovely I was honestly afraid to walk in the store! So I walked around to the side alley and saw these magical, metallic mesh boots:
The saleswoman who greeted me instantly made me feel special and at ease at the same time. I sat on the exotic beaded bench and tried on everything she recommended–as long as the heels were high: turquoise suede with a bow, gold patent leather, even these metallic purple platforms:
But when it came time to make the purchase, I decided to go for classic with a twist, so I chose the patent platform peep-toes in candy-apple red. They seemed tight at first, but the saleswoman assured me that they were perfect. She further counseled me, “You must be strong.” Seeing how impeccably stylish she was, I took her advice and bought them.
She was right: they’re perfect. And they transform any outfit–from jeans to evening wear–to something unforgettable.

Wow! They make your legs amazing! I’m not much at walking in heels; I’d fall flat on my face but at least I’d be fantastic, right?
OMG LOOOOOOVE
miss seeing you around!
Teresa – I’m not bad at walking in heels, but these are a whole other level. But yeah, fantastic and flat on face seems to work fine as long as you can see the red soles!
Gabe, you’re so sweet, hope you’re loving your new gig. We miss you tons, but dang, you needed something as fabulous as you!
