Mix-n-Match with Parisian Vintage Accessories
by TheadoraCalling all Anywear-Girlfriends! I’ve always been a big fan of the wardrobe mix-n-match. For the love of juxtaposition and money, who isn’t? This year, when the shops in Paris were bombarded with both the equestrian and nautical looks, it made perfect sense to marry the pair quickly, then gild the lily with a twist of my own. So let’s saunter on to my favorite vintage accessory hunting grounds at the Porte de Vanves Flea Market.
Giddy up!
If you only have time for one flea market jaunt during your trip to Paris, I suggest hotfooting it to the Porte de Vanves either on Saturday or Sunday morning. Paris Magazine Wars – Accessories Rule
by YaniqueIt’s officially spring time and the magazines here are all about accessories! I wanted to share a round of what I’m reading right now and where I’m grabbing some inspiration.

New Paris magazine, Envy
Envy is a new weekly fashion and people magazine launched here in Paris a month ago. It’s a quick read type of magazine and great for gossip, trends and highlighting pieces you can easily find in a retail store like H&M or Zara based on this season’s must-have trends from the high-end design houses.

This is Zadig!
by YaniqueZadig & Voltaire is a Parisian brand known for its ultimate cool casual styles and luxury pieces: cashmere sweaters, silk blended graphic t-shirts, organic cotton dresses and jeans that are made to live in.

Paris storefront
Creator Thierry Gillier grew up around the luxury retail industry as his father was one of the cofounders of Lacoste. He says that he created Zadig and Voltaire with the hopes of bringing “affordable luxury” to the masses. By the looks of things we’ll say Mission Accomplished!

From the iconic campaign
Zadig and Voltaire has grown from a one-boutique brand to encompass many locations in and around Paris and now they are set to conquer America and have quickly found a following of celebrities such as Alexis Bledil and Myley Cyrus.
