Cityslips Are the Must-Have Flat

by Sarah

I am not joking when I say EVERYONE needs this shoe, especially if you live in the city and are constantly running around from place to place.

I know my love for wearing heels has dwindled because I cannot walk around on Boston cobblestones and manage to look normal at the same time. My feet get caught, I am slow, I am sweating and trying to balance. CitySlips are the ANSWER to my prayers.

What are CitySlips you ask? Well, they are an adorable, padded pair of flats that fold into a cute cosmetic sized pouch. The main attraction is that this pouch unzips to transform into a bag to hold your heels when switching into your CitySlips.

Voila! Not only can I look cute while getting somewhere, I can tote along my favorite heels to switch into when I do. Why didn’t I… [read more]

Louboutin Love

by Tosca

There are special moments in every girl’s life: getting married to the love of your life, snagging a great job, and buying your first pair of red-soled shoes. Of course, Christian Louboutins are the stuff of legend: they’re French, they’re fashionable, and they’re fabulous!

So on my first trip to Paris a couple of months ago, I really only had a couple of must-do items on my list: meet the Anyweargirl Paris bloggers in person, see the Eiffel tower, and go to the Christian Louboutin for some stunning footwear.

Even the storefront windows don’t disappoint. The leopard display visible from the main street was so lovely I was honestly afraid to walk in the store! So I walked around to the side alley and saw these magical, metallic mesh boots:

The saleswoman who greeted me instantly made me feel special and at ease at the… [read more]

Spring is rapidly approaching, Boston! It’s time to shove the Uggs back into the closet, and break out some fashionable and fabulous spring footwear! Peep-toed booties, gladiator sandals, and pastel colored heels get my vote! I’m loving everything with embellishments, straps, crystals, buckles, studs…adds a little bit of attitude to any outfit! I Dream of Shoes…(designed in SF of course)

by Tami

New York Fashion Week may be over, but the fashion craze doesn’t stop for me. Looking at some of the runway designs, it got me thinking about a few SF shoe designers that I admire:

Paolo Shoes
I’ve been in love with Paolo’s work for as long as I can remember. Each time I’m in the Fillmore area, I pop by their store and ooh and ahh over the new designs. I have the Eel Contoured Heel Pump in jade green, which I love to bits. If you’ve never seen shoes made with eel skin, this is an elegant pump that uses the soft and exotic fabric. Their boutiques also sell it in a few classic colors (Brown, Tan, Navy Blue, and Black).
