It’s summertime in Paris and dressing is easy if you’re wearing one of the new jumpsuits (combishorts)! And I’m not the only one who is feeling its carefree vibe.

Girls all over the city are wearing the super cute one-piece garments. On cold and rainy days here, they pair them with black leggings. But it’s the perfect summertime outfit because the slouchy fit is loose and airy, and the fabric is lightweight—freeing me up to daydream. When it’s hot, you don’t want ask yourself how to dress. If you have a jumpsuit, you just jump in! Summer is when (if you feel like it) you can wear outfits that you might not dare put on the rest of the year.

By the way, I found my jumpsuit at Monoprix (similar to Target and Marks & Spencer)! Selling everything from food, to sunglasses, cosmetics, and clothing, this place is one-stop shopping and a definite must-see if you visit Paris.

There’s at least one Monoprix in each arrondissement. I found the sandales at my new favorite shoe shop, Texto, which I discovered few weeks ago. They also sell the ballet slippers that we French girls love.
